Win-Win Jerusalem establishes Jerusalem’s first Inter-Community Committee

Communities involved are working towards finding long-term Win-Win Solutions for Neighbourhood Dilemmas, promoting sustainable dynamic changes. Win-Win Jerusalem has established Jerusalem’s first Inter-Community Committee of some 30 persons educators, social workers, religious figures and more. The committee has divided into task forces on the subjects of education, tourism and leadership.

The initiative has successfully established the first inter-community committee comprised of community leaders (teachers, religious leaders, initiators, etc.) from different neighborhoods and cultural backgrounds in Jerusalem.

The goal of the committee is to share input upon the up-to date needs of Jerusalemites in order for Jerusalem Mosaic to plan and find creative solutions and to address their needs. Another objective of the committee is to empower people from within the communities to take an active role in addressing the needs of Jerusalem as a whole. At the end of each year we will create a new such committee from the year’s participants and follow-up on their involvement and new initiatives. By this we are enlarging the circles of citizen involvement in the shared society.
